You will be transfered to the Juneau airfield and your waiting helicopter. Before taking off, we'll fit you with the proper gear and give you a safety briefing. The flight out could last up to 20 minutes. Once on the glacier you will be taught the proper use of the mountaineering gear.

This trip is a non-strenuous, 1-hour interpretive walk. The guide provides detailed explanations of the glacier environment, the surrounding area, and teaches proper use of the mountaineering equipment provided. There is plenty of time for photo opportunities. The amount of walking is moderate, over relatively flat to rolling terrain. No previous experience is necessary.
